SCENTED FRESH NATURAL WAX 100% PURE

Floral waxes are solid, aromatic plant waxes that are obtained during the production of floral concretes and absolutes. Floral waxes are comprised of the natural wax and precious aromatics present within the botanical that they are derived from. No additional waxes or fragrances are added.

Floral waxes can be used to scent a product – it all depends on how strong a scent you want. It’s advisable to keep your floral wax usage below 10% of the final product weight. Most floral waxes are strongly scented enough that you will have a fair amount of fragrance coming through at that ratio.

MIMOSA / ACACIA FLORAL WAX

Our Mimosa Floral Wax has a greenish-golden hue and possesses a beautiful yet subtle, intoxicating mimosa floral aroma. The product makes an exquisite aromatic addition to natural solid perfumes, balms, creams and other solid or semi-solid formulations. It makes a wonderful vegan substitution in recipes that call for beeswax. It is slightly softer than beeswax, so experimentation may be necessary.

Floral waxes are firm at normal room temperature and melt when heated. The consistency of each floral wax can vary slightly. Generally speaking, however, they have a consistency somewhat similar to that of firm vegetable butter. As with vegetable butters, floral waxes may begin melting when stored or transported at warmer temperatures.

BULGARIAN ROSE FLORAL WAX

Our Rose Floral Wax is tan in color. It possesses a beautifully complex fragrance profile that is sweet and floral with soft, honey-like aromatic notes. While the floral wax is highly fragrant, it is not as intensely concentrated in the aroma as Rose Absolute.

Rose Floral Wax makes an exquisite aromatic addition to natural solid perfumes, balms, creams and other solid or semi-solid formulations.

JASMINE SAMBAC FLORAL WAX

This wax provides the exotic and sensual aroma of Jasmine, with a slight difference from the aroma of Grandiflora. As is the norm with all floral waxes, this wax is an excellent moisturizer with very good emollient action. Use in products in the 0.4 to 6% range.

Floral waxes work well to scent a lotion or other body product, a tiny amount is all that’s needed to scent the complete recipe. Melt the wax over very low heat and add it to your recipe. Floral wax usually constitutes 2% of a final recipe.

JASMINE GRANDIFLORUM FLORAL WAX

Jasmine Grandiflorum Floral Wax provides the exotic and sensual aroma of Jasmine. As is the norm with all floral waxes, this wax is an excellent moisturizer with very good emollient action.

Floral waxes are less expensive than absolutes and add properties, scent, and color to creams and lotions. Recommended use rate is up to 10%. Floral waxes also work very well for scenting lotions; 1 oz. of floral wax is equivalent to about 1/2 oz. of the corresponding absolute.
