Organic Shea Butter It is rich in fatty acids and helps clear excess oil while restoring moisture. Shea butter lubricates the skin and creates a barrier to keep moisture in. It is emollient and helps trap moisture. Shea butter has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, making it ideal for softening, conditioning, toning, and soothing the skin.

Coconut Oil It's occlusive, so it sits on top of the skin, trapping moisture underneath. This helps smooth the skin and lock in existing moisture

Canola Oil contains a high level of essential fatty acids which are known to boost skin strength, it can be used as an emollient for moisturizing the skin. Loaded with vitamins E and K, canola oil can help to maintain the production of collagen in the skin, promote wound healing, keep the skin supple, and slow down the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Soybean Oil Improves moisture retention, reinforces moisture barrier, anti-inflammatory

Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) We use 99% pure, food grade Sodium Hydroxide in pellet or bead form.It is all consumed in the reaction when processed and none remains once the soap is produced. It’s the most common saponification ingredient used in soap making and results in a solid block of soap. Hardening happens due to the saponification process (when mixing lye with fat) because the substance crystallizes.
